I’m not overly big on meme like things on this blog, however, Starbucks stood up to NOM and the other anti marriage equality bastages at their recent stockholders’ meeting and told them to go pound sand (and it is so very interesting that by standing up to the haters they call Starbucks out for “taking political action.” What the heck do they think those taking their side are doing…planting daisies? Go Sign it!

Helen Carroll, the sports project manager from the National Center for Lesbian Rights, which represented the players in the lawsuit, said the settlement is a victory for the oft-overlooked rights of bisexuals.

It’s national coming out day!  I’m James. I’m bi. I’m genderqueer.

Who are you?

Yeah, there is such a day.

And we do need it. In the GLBT community the B gets erased and the T gets tacked on like punctuation. God forbid you to the GLBTQ monicker b/c then it’s GLb…t….>q<

I’m BI.

Proudly Bi.

I may be with SG right now, but he and I are both proudly BI.  We’ve had sex with men and women. We’ve had torrid romances with men and women.  We’ve had relationships with both men and women.

We ended up with each other….not because of some social group pressure, but because our souls, rather than our plumbing, fit.  15 years of sharing the neck-snap of a hot, athletic chick walking by or sitting in a WeHo restaurant discussing the “fuckability” of the waiter have solidified us as a couple.

I’m not greedy…I’m open.

And it’s a great place to be.

Be BI, be proud and don’t cave to pressure to conform.
