Starting September I’m going to be updating with more frequency. To do that I’ve scheduled posts in predictable format. The sch. will be once ever four weeks, so I’ll start you off with the first four weeks in September 2009 and try and follow me from there.
On every fourth Tuesday, starting September 1st 2009, I will post RANDOM RESEARCH: odd bits of things I’ve found through reading/surfing that my readers might find interesting. This came about because my readers often asked where I found some tidbit about rodeos, police procedure or criminal behavior. The information might be linked in some fashion by a common theme, or just be odd bits I’ve stumbled across while looking for other information. I may review a book on evidence or discuss one of the police training manuals I have in my private collection.
Saturday is open right now. I may invite guest bloggers, do mini-interviews or the like. This blog still is a work in progress.
NICKY SAYS* feature. Appears every 4thMonday. Nicholas O’Malley, from the Taking the Odds books, discusses BDSM, reviews sex toys, explains some techniques and answers questions. Nicky is a Switch, with more dominant leanings. He prefers bondage/discipline games to pain play – defiantly favoring Japanese Rope Bondage both for the aesthetics and restraint possibilities.
*a note from the Author folks. Nicky is a character in a fictional series. This column is offered primarily for amusement of my readers. While I have based the restraints in my books on techniques and variations I’ve woven myself, I’ve been doing this for years and I started slow and easy. Rope bondage, frankly any kind of bondage or S&M play, can be dangerous if not done properly. I will make every effort to convey accurate information – researching it and discussing it with other practitioners I know. I would not recommend that you use this site as your sole knowledge base.
I’ll be posting EXCERPTS from new releases or works in progress every fourth Friday. I’ll warn you if they haven’t been edited and if whether they’re safe for work. If the mood strikes me, you might find some flash fiction.
