So folks, for those who are doing the WTF dance regarding the new page notifications…I’m working through the blog which is currently hosted on one server in order to be able to download a reasonable “website” so when I move hosting to the new server I will just move the wordpress portion over and that will serve as my website. This is crossing fingers and all that. I’ve had a wonderful person who has helped me keep my website up and running and basically did it for love (and I gave her free books) but time constraints (new jobs, life, yadda)…anyway, a wordpress format is more mailable and I can tinker with it more as I have time. The ease of page creation, the ease of photo uploads all that mean it’s time to shift. That way those who help me are not encumbered by endless coding everytime I decide I need to add some new  facet to the site

Beyond Duty

In The Edge of Desperation

by James Buchanan with Jason Edding

Over what can love and lust win? Can they win over betrayal? Espionage? Instability? Overthrowing a monarchy? James Buchanan and Jason Edding bring us two stories spanning the universe. Jason continues the Dark Robe Society’s story; Jack and Edge return and bring each other and us to the edge again while Toren and Tees share more than a common goal. James introduces us to Alad and Hirah, both out searching for something when they meet, are they the end of searching for each other? All the heroes are on an edge, but is it The Edge of Desperation?

Seventeenth Century Paris: a city of intrigue, divination, illicit romance and murder.

Louis XIII is dead, Louis XIV serves as the child puppet of Mazarin while the nobles of France seethe with bitterness.  Developing precognition brings Jules disturbing visions he can’t quite comprehend.  Something runs rampant through his chateau turning his household upside down.  Bereft of his former patron, Richelieu, Jules must ally himself with his most hated foe to humiliate those of purer blood who scorn him.  He, his grown sons, and his lover Curran engage in spiteful games meant to disgrace an arrogant old woman with the keys to Jules’ past.  Will a harridan’s ruin be worth the sacrifice Jules will make?
